* From Johannesburg, take the N3 to Harrismith, then the N5 (Bethlehem Road) and after a short distance, turn onto the R712 (Qwa-Qwa). Take the R74 left to Bergville and continue on to Winterton. + Turn onto the R600 towards the mountains, direction Champagne Castle (cross the railway), at Thokozisa & Gordon Hall, drive app.. 4 km on R600, then first road on your right - ( direction Bell Park dam, Cayley lodge, Sagarmatha & uShaka-signs) (D 53). After the small bridge continue for 3 km , entrance at the prayer flags on your left side.( don't turn towards Cayley lodge after the small bridge but continue straight to Bell park), We are about 23 km from Winterton.
At the entrance of the farm is a sliding gate. Guests should give at least one phone number to the host. You will be put in a security system which will allow you to phone a special number that will open the gate when you enter or leave.
The road R 74 from Harrismith to Oliviershoek pass is completely refurbished and in excellent condition.
You can alternative drive Van Reenen pass down. After the Toll Plaza at Ladysmith take exit Bergville. Drive in the direction of Ladysmith for a few km. Turn right on the R 600 towards Winterton. Turn left to Winterton and follow R 600 to Champagne Valley.
From Ladysmith, take the N11 and turn left on the R600 to Winterton.+ continue from above +

Via Durban, Pietermaritzburg: get off the N3 exit left 179, Estcourt North, Loskop. Follow direction Loskop ( cattle on the road !!!). At Thokozisa, Gordon Hall turn left on R600, after app.. 4 km drive, turn right D 53 ( direction Bell Park dam, Cayley lodge, Meadowsweat herbs-signs). After the small bridge continue for 3 km , entrance at the prayer flags on your left side, ( don't turn towards Cayley lodge after the small bridge but continue strait to Bell park)
In Winterton there is a Super Spar, OK shop, 4 ATM's (ABSA & FNB, Standard bank, Capitec) , Pharmacy, 3 Petrol stations, a doctor and if you need something, stop in Winterton before turning towards the mountains. Tourist information at Thokozisa & Winterton village . Closer to the mountains there is Cedarwood Saverite shopping center and the Oaks at Dragonspeak resort. There is also petrol & diesel at Dragonspeak. Both with ATM's
